Bread bowls are one of our favorite things ever. What's not to love about sneaking extra bread into your life? Truth. While you traditionally stuff bread bowls with cheesy dips or creamy soups, we were starting to wonder why there was no dessert love? So we did something crazy. We put apple pie in a bread bowl, and we regret nothing.

If you think about it, pie crust is basically bread (it's a stretch, but go with me here), so why not amp things up by filling a bread bowl with apple pie filling!? It's the same sticky, sweet apple flavor you love, but instead of thin, measly crust that flakes everywhere, you get a hunk of bread. Not going to argue with that.
You take a boule, hollow it out, mix together your apple filling in a large bowl, then stuff it inside the bread bowl. Put the top on, brush with butter, sprinkle with sugar, bake for an hour and then drizzle with warm caramel sauce.
Do you really want to roll out pie dough after this? Let me think about that. That would be a solid no.
