There are two types of brunch people: those who sip on mimosas and those that drink bloody marys. If you're in the bubbly category, hear me out. Bloody marys are so much more fun. With a champagne flute, you're very limited. A sprinkle sugar rim, cute as it is, is about as exciting as it gets. A bloody is less dainty. It's the go big or go home type of fare. Case in point: Grilled Cheese Bloody Marys.

I know it's insane and decadent and totally unnecessary … but it's also pretty freaking amazing. You know the combination of tomato and grilled cheese is killer. A wedge of grilled cheese dunked into tomato soup is one of life's greatest pleasures. But trust me, this is even better. It's spicier, more flavorful and, most importantly, BOOZY. Honestly, any future bloody mary without a grilled cheese will seem boring.
As far as the cocktail itself goes, you do you. Our recipe is pretty bomb, but anything will work here — even a mix! Whatever you do, however, don't skip the bacon!
