UPDATE: October 3, 2017 at 12:30 p.m.
Attention, attention: In a few days, Starbucks will be celebrating a very important birthday. The chain's iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte is turning 14 and, to celebrate, the company is bringing back PSL-flavored whipped cream.
The special topping — made from real pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, ginger and cinnamon — was introduced last year in honor of the beverage becoming a teenager, and is being brought back a second time beginning on Oct. 5 and ending Oct. 8. For four days, Starbucks customers can order themselves a PSL or Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino that'll be topped off with the pumpkin-flavored cream instead of the usual non-spiced dessert topping. So run, don't walk, and get it while you can.

Did you know that the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte has been around for 13 whole years already? To celebrate the PSL's birthday, all pumpkin spice drinks—including hot, iced and Frappuccinos–will come with pumpkin spice whipped cream today through October 9. Just like the drinks, PSW (that's pumpkin spice whip) is made from real pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, ginger and cinnamon.
Think that's too much pumpkin spice in one drink for you? That's okay—Starbucks is also cool with you topping off ANY drink with pumpkin spice whip for free.
And because it isn't a birthday party unless you go home with a favor, Starbucks will also be handing out these adorable little "HBD PSL" pins to anyone who orders a pumpkin spice drink while supplies last.
