In September, Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared on Twitter that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She wrote, "1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one."
Now, almost a month later, the actress took to to post that she had finished her second round of chemotherapy. In her caption she wrote, "We are NOT fucking around here," before quoting Katy Perry's song "Roar" and thanking Perry for the inspiration.
She also thanked Timothy Simons and Tony Hale, who play Jonah Ryan and Gary Walsh, respectively, on Veep, for their "their hilarious and loving inspiration." And, because it is Louis-Dreyfus—who's taken home six consecutive Emmy wins for best actress in a comedy—she did it all while wearing huge aviators and a draw-on mustache.
