In September, Swiss chocolate company Barry Callebaut announced that it had invented a brand-new type of chocolate called "Ruby" chocolate — and now, a baker has created this incredible (and *edible*) sculpture from ruby chocolate and cake.

"The idea was to create a set of elements (cakes) that together would form a single composition," Ukrainian pastry chef Dinara Kasko wrote on her website about the cake, which was inspired by the works of "paper engineer" Matt Shlian.
Using the graphical algorithm editor Grasshopper, Kasko generated 81 unique silicon molds that were arranged to create one larger cake.
"Inspired by Matthew Shlian, we took a pyramid and changed the tilt of each object and the area of each top plane, programming and scripting the set of cakes," Kasko wrote.
