Curtis Stone is opening a new restaurant in Los Angeles, but picky eaters beware — the new eatery won't have a menu. According to
Eater, the celeb chef recently talked about his upcoming venture on an episode of Larry King Now. The restaurant will be located in Beverly Hills and Stone is considering naming it Maude's (his grandmother's name). Perhaps the most interesting feature of the new place is that it won't have a menu. "You're going to put yourself in the chef's hands (that's me)," he explained.
Maude's will have 25 to 30 seats and customers will have to hope that they like what chef Curtis is putting up for the evening. While the idea of offering a no substitutions tasting menu isn't a new concept, it's unclear whether or not that's the direction Stone plans to take or if the restaurant will serve up more typical courses that are already decided for diners.
